  1. I downloaded a movie, but the movie was without a subtitle. I would to have a dutch subtitle beneath it. If someone could help me with this problem, i would be very pleased.
    Thanks

  2. If you are intending to make your own subtitles do the following:

    1. Download a copy of Substation Alpha
    2. Download a copy of Virtual Dub plus the Substation Alpha plug in. Download TMPGEnc.
    3. Play your video and write down the time the subtitle starts and the text of the subtitle
    4. When you have finished your movie, create a script using the timings and text in SUb Station Alpha
    5. Open Virtualdub. Load movie. Open Video/Filters. Load filters. Load your substation alpha script. Click use antialias. Open Video/Compression and choose codec.
    6. Save as AVI
    7. Convert file to MPG with TMPGEnc.

    5. Open Virtual Dub, Open filters/subtitler/Open your script file, click use anti alias. Open Videos and choose a compression. Latter is very important otherwise your file will be very large
    6. Save as AVI

Do you have a timed script? If so then it's just a matter of finding a way to properly convert the file. What file type is it?
