Convert 10bit MKV videos in to 8bit MKV with XMedia

Hi i followed a video on how to Convert 10bit MKV videos in to 8bit MKV and when i use the xmedia i get a problem, i paste the vid in the xmedia and when i palced ad job it said that the file was 50mb and when i played it, it was all pixly like 240p.
