Just bought an old 30 GB iPod Classic at a pawn shop. I'd like to put some video on it but I'm not sure about format. I assume I'll want to convert my files to MP4? I see options for conversion to 360p, 720p and 1080p. Will all these work on this old iPod?
Also, I know this is off topic, but I also see audio available for download in both MP3 and M4b format. What is the difference between these two?
Any help would be appreciated.

MP3 is an older audio codec than M4B (M4B is AAC in an MP4 containter). Support is better for MP3 on various non-Apple devices. AAC audio is fine, but I'm not one of those people who seemingly believe that it is the only good choice and everything else is crap. I would expect your iPod to support both formats.
