  1. Well, the legend file starts in 45 seconds. I one it to start in 44 seconds, and subconsequently, all the rest of the legend file get late in one sec. How do I do that?
    The file is SUB, but a I can convert it to another one.

    P.s - Is "get late" is the right word? Sorry for my bad english :)

    Which kind of subtitle files you ever are talking about, I am afraid you need to edit the time of the subtitles manually. If you want hard encoded subs you may use subresync, that comes with VobSub or a simple text editor if you have selectable subs. Dirty job, I know, but I do not have a better idea. Wait a minute, if you have selectable subs and want to mux with I-Author you can define a delay, I am not sure whether this is possible with submux too.

  6. all the speeches are one second faster than it was supposed to be. i don't want to late on sec in all the speechs. this would be very boring. Isn't there a program out there, that can do this automaticaly??? It is a SSA subtitle file.

    THX guys!

    Well, open the *.ssa in Sub Station Alpha, select timing > shift times. So you can resync all subtitles in one step.
    mux = multiplex -> http://www.vcdhelp.com/faq.htm
    SVCD subtitles must be muxed to the MPEG stream, while hard encoded subtitles (e.g. if you use the subtitler filter with VirtualDub) become a part of the picture.
