i have searched the archives and have not found any posts pertaning to my problem so here it goes.
When i make my rip of the dvd the movement is all jerky or the are lines through the movie or both. I have tried using forced film and just leaving it normal in dvd2avi, and even changing the aspect ratio in TMPGEnc but non of these things seem to help if anyone can help me out or be able to clue me in to my mistakes it would be much appricated
I am using :
Smart Ripper (latest version)
Dvd2Avi (latest version)
TMPGEnc (latest version)
The current movie i am stuck on is:
Samurai Jack

in dvd2avi, what does the info box say about the source video?
is it NTSC or FILM? is it interlaced or progressive? -
the aspect ratio is 4:3
Frame rate is 29.970
video type is ntsc
frame type is interlaced
hope that helps usally i force film it but not shure what to do now -
...under the Advanced Settings try switching the field order...if it is "top first" then switch to "bottom first"or vice-versa...do a short test and see if it corrects the probelm...

because the movie is NTSC, interlaced...u cannot use FORCED FILM in dvd2avi...what u can do is use the NTSC template in tmpgenc to encode it w/
