so i'm working on this flash player app--its comming along very well--i can pull youtube clips from off google searches. the method i use to pull the final url links--its not the best so far, so i was hoping before i get deeper into the development of that, is there a website that offeres a better search mechanism (with more search results output) so that i could pull the necessary info i need to include in my flash player app ?

i mainly want to pull the videos Title and URL, and description if possible. but i would also like to have the Channel and User Name as well. i would also need to search by Channel and User Name.

does something like this exist ?
    do i need to go php/script/xml/etc ?

thank you in advance for any leads.

no, not another video site to replace youtube..sorry for the confusion.

what i'm looking for is an alternative searching website for searching out youtube videos. like a google-for-youtube only search engine. does something like this exist ? or do i have to invent one, sort of, through html/php, i don't know.

tubesurf.com is what i already do via google scrapping. but yvoschaap.com/youtube is something that looks interesting. what i'm looking to do in the end, is snip (parse) the title and url of the videos so i can insert them into my apps viewer and ultimately, its database.
