  1. Hello all...
I have been trying to rip and burn my blu-ray movies as backups...and am having quite a time of it.
I have burned approx. 10 disc (25gig ea) with no success.
I foune MilOtis's.pdf and followed it to a tee. I get stuck a little more than mid way with "Failed video encode, aborted"
It seems to me that my ffdshow is incorrect, however I have the latest offered.
Here is my log file...if anyone can help me out with this, I would be appreciated.
Thanks for looking...Mods...if this is in the wrong place, please move it.
    Thanks a bunch
    Paul

  4. Well, I forget what exactly is in that guide, but no matter. You're configured wrongly.

    1) Use *ONLY* the versions of ffdshow, Haali, and Avisynth listed on the first page of the BDRB bug report thread. Here:

    http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=143716

    2) You're on Windows 6.1 (7601), that's Windows 7, right? (Fill in your details). Delete your BDRB folder. Uninstall ffdshow, Haali, and Avisynth. For good measure, you could use CCleaner to clean up any registry items associated with them, but you probably won't need to do that. Create a new folder for BDRB, unzip the latest version of BDRB in it.

    Here's the important part:

Right-click the executable and select "Run as Administrator". BDRB will offer to configure everything correctly for you. Let it.

    3) Make sure you specify a working files location.

    That's it. Good luck.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
