Hi,
I have few big movies files about 6-10GB and I want to convert them with same video quality to smaller one.
I see sometimes some movies with amazing quality in size like 300-500MB.
Can someone help and tell me what is the best application to do this or some info how to do this process.
Thx in advance for any help!!!!![]()

I use format factory more than any of my 14 Different Encoders
for 1080p to 720p efficient conversion...

Not going to happen!!
To make it smaller you need to throw out information which means you will not have the same quality.
On what ??
An Ipod ?
A 13" crt tv ??
You surely are NOT going to take a video that is 1280x720 & 6gb-10gb & compress it down to 300-500MB & have it anywhere near the original quality, unless of course you are watching it on a Ipod or 13" crt, or you are half blind.......

100%.
A 500Mb file is unwatchable to me on my 23" monitor. As mentioned, how can you expect to lose 90% of the information and somehow retain quality? Anyone who thinks a 350Mb feature length video is high quality either is watching it on their phone or needs their eyes examined.
If you want to play with shrinking the video, fine, but you'll need advanced h.264 options to get decent results. Be prepared to do some research. And it'll take a long time to encode.
Is saving up for more external drives sounding good at this point?
