I have the Acer 3720, everything was working fine a few days ago and all of a sudden the sound is gone today. Heres the problem, I tried my xbox, tv receiver which are connected by HDMI and was only able to get picture, the weird thing is my ipad and iphone was able to get picture and audio so that confirms the speakers on the tv are working. I tried a different hdmi cable and still the same thing. I tried a component cable on the tv receiver and was able to get audio. Ideas?
Edit - I believe this is the hdmi handshake but I'm not sure how to fix it

Go to the TV menu/audio and set "HDMI Audio" to on, also set your components(xbox, etc) audio output to PCM. If it was a handshake issue you wouldn't get a picture, it is possible the HDMI port is fried so try another HDMI port on the TV.
