I have the VCR function set to capture at DVD resolution (720X480?).

I'm using MS Media Player to playback the captures, because the ATI player has so many problems (can't find playback locations when FF or RW).

Media Player plays the files back fine, except the picture is slightly streched, with balck bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

Anyone know what resolution I should be capturing in to get a full screen using media player?

How about another player that can automatically fit the picture to full screen (which the ATI player does)?

Media player sucks for not being able to recognize aspect ratios. Not all pixels are square but WMP plays all my captures like they were. If you want your capture to play correctly on WMP with a 4:3 display, you need to set the resolution to one with a ratio of 4:3, such as 640x480. All sofware DVD players I have used like PowerDVD handle any ratios just fine maintaining the correct aspect ratio regardless of the capture resolution. Scrap the ATI player and get a software DVD player to play your capture files.
