After mkvmerge audio codec no more recognized by bluray reader

Hello the community, I'd like to submit you an issue I got with a mkv movie.
Having got an italian version of 'Dragon trainer' in 3D version 1080p resolution, I got a 720p with an english audio track.
Both are playing fine on my Samsung BD-E5500/ZF player.
Wanting to keep the highest video resolution with an english audio track, I used MKVMerge to mix the best video with the preferred audio with no transformation nor re-encoding.
The result works fine on the PC but not with the BRD player. Audio codec seems no more recognized by the reader.
If someone can help....

Be sure to disable header compression in mkvmergegui (file->options->disabale header compression...) and then mux your video and audio.

But it wouldn't play at all then...I guess.
