  1. Hi

    Wondering if someone could advise me on how to figure out my visual problem?
    The HD Graphics card is clashing with HD Flatron LG LED resulting in image on
    Screen just says no signal.

    PC Motherboard: ASUS M4A 79 DELUX
    VAPOR- X HD 4870 1GB GDDR 5 PCI- E
    1500GB HHD
    4GB RAM
    WINDOWS VISTA 32 BIT
    LG 22" HD LED MONITOR FLATRON M2280D


    Any ideas anyone?

    card completely and correctly inserted din slot? are there 2 6-pin power plugs connected from the power supply to the video card? correct cable and the monitor set to pick up on the port the cable is in?

    My theory is that the HD graphics from the monitor and that of
    That graphics card are clashing

    Of reviews I find on the internet for this graphics card, 25% are complaints about the card not working properly or just dying after short use. Others complain about poor cooling/overheating. Try another monitor, or try the monitor on another PC and card. I've used several LG monitors, never had a problem. Or try new card drivers from Sapphire's website. The last time I used a Sapphire card was about 5 years ago; it died after a week. Never went back to Sapphire again.

    no signal means nothing is coming out the cable from the video card at all. is the fan on the card spinning? do you see any video on the monitor at all during boot up? if it isn't even working for legacy vga video during bios bootup it's most likely dead.
