I recently made a very nice slideshow with Pinnacle 15- in my opinion, for my daughters 21st.

On my computer the proportions of the photos and the videos were 100%.

Unfortunately, on the DVD, the photos were all "stretched out"- long and tall.

The video clips are 720 by 576 mpeg 25 fps ( we use PAL). The project format was set on HD 1920x1080/50i; 16.9 interlaced.

Should I save it as1440x1080? Or what can I do.

I want to save this for future use

    Thanks in advance

I guess you should set the project to 720x576 16:9. Because that is the dvd limit.

    Or use DVD Slideshow GUI!

    Thanks Baldrick!

It eventually worked with 720x576 4:3.

Just another question- I have a Conon Legria HV40- What would the best settings for capturing be, bearing in mind that we will soon have HD TV?

    Thanks
