  1. Do you know why not? Because this idea of + 30 ms, fix overlaps and - 30 ms is just the beginning of the process, not the end. Only after I did those 3 things, I can be sure that the gaps are at least 30 ms. Just that. But that is not enough at all to guarantee that my subtitles are correctly timed and synchronized according to the strict quality standards that I must follow.

It just means that after doing those 3 steps, I simply can begin to set the times for each subtitle and the gaps are going to be fine. But of course, while doing that I will probably make new mistakes, and will create gaps smaller than 30 ms again. And of course, the program will not show them to me.

So, do you know what I mean? This is not a solution...

  2. If you think you created new overlaps you just run the fix again. It's only two simple steps.

If that's really too much for you contact the author of the program and ask him to add the exact feature you want. Even better, offer to pay him to add it.

If you can't or won't answer these questions, I will give up trying to help you.

    1) state exactly what error message you get
    2) attach the SRT to your post

  4. LOL! I already contacted them, of course... I hope they come up with a solution. ))

  5. AlanHK, read above. I already addressed that.

The program wanted 00,x (x is any number) instead of just 0,x. Even though "00," has no meaning at all. I was using 0,x and thatīs why I received the error message. Thatīs solved now.

About the .srt, THERE'S NOTHING TO SEE THERE. I am continually changing the times just to use it for trials. The problem is not the file, the problem is the system to use.

    Thanks, Alan.

    Thanks, Alan.
Since you won't give me the information I requested, I can't waste any more time on this.
