I wouldn't even waste my time debating the topic with the likes of Noahtuck. There's always at least one.... someone who dismisses arguments with little more than name-calling to offer, and obviously no arguments based on any technical expertise.

The "FLAC using a lower bitrate" argument at least gave me a laugh. Err..... it's compressed. Maybe he'll return to explain why uncompressing it while playing changes the audio in a way uncompressing then playing does not. I doubt it though.... he's already gone from "I can hear a slight difference in certain/many FLAC files" to "99.9% of the time I hear no difference", so maybe he'll return for a little more backpeddling instead.
