  1. After i render my video, every spinning text has a top and bottom border that spins along with the text. When i open Sony Vegas 11 and check the clips, everything looks normal, i play frame by frame and nothing shows up. Any one have any ideas? My Project Properties are : Width:1,920 , Height:1,072 , 30 FPS, 8 Bit, Aspect Ration 1.0000 Render settings Width: 1920 Height: 1080 , 29.970 (NTSC)

  2. Does it looks ok in the vegas preview before rendering ?

Can you post a screenshot or sample clip or at least provide a better description? Are they compression artifacts ?

What codec did you use? What bitrate? Try increasing the bitrate

    Not that it's related, but was project properties height a typo ? 1072 ? not 1080 ?

  3. it does look normal before i render it. this is one screenshot http://i48.tinypic.com/2rrt4oz.jpg , http://i45.tinypic.com/m915e8.png , after i render it, it looks like this http://i45.tinypic.com/3480cp2.png , http://i45.tinypic.com/2wgrbxj.png , it was basic text spin, and someone told me that 1072 was also good cause it was divisible by 16 or something like that.

  4. I'd keep 1080 size through out, capture, Vegas properties, and final render to 1920x1080, check if problem persists.

  5. If you use AVC, internally everything is padded to 16 anyway. Just leave everything at 1080, including project properties, render settings, all generated media and assets.

Maybe the black edge pixels were caused by that? If your overlay layer was 1072, those 4+4 pixels on the top and bottom might show as black pixels instead of alpha channel

HA: _Al_ beat me to it

  8. ok so now that i changed it to 1080 i can see the lines in Sony vegas , i just need to figure out why the lines show up.

  9. Do a quick test with a new project, everything new at 1080 , with a quick text spin - there shouldn't be any black lines

It might be reusing using old render previews
