I use a Mac and have no problem pulling footage into Final Cut Pro if I connect the CX260 to my computer but if I try to copy the entire folder from my SD card to my computer, FCP X is not able to see a valid folder...any valid contents. I'm not sure if somehow I am doing something wrong but I would like to be able to shoot, pull the SD card out, hand it to another person to dump it into a Mac while I start on another card. Is this not possible? Can a Mac with FCP X or FCP Studio 7 not import video from the SD Card itself, outside of the camera. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Amanda. I solved the problem. In FCPX one can treat the files as if they were a camera by choosing to Import from Camera and selecting Open Archive and then navigating to the files in question. Thanks for your help and I'll keep that url available.
