  1. Several years ago I used a software called "DVD Decrypter" to copy DVD movie to my harddrive. It has created 4 files. Now I want to combine & and make the movie on Harddrive but it does not seem to work. Can any one tell what DVD Decrypter really do to DVD movie and how I can play it back. Thaks

  2. Your post is very unclear about what you want to do. If you want to play it back as a DVD, then decrypt it in File Mode (not IFO Mode) and double-click on the VIDEO_TS.IFO using Media Player Classic Home Cinema or other similar players. I suspect you're just double-clicking on a VOB. That plays a VOB, but not the DVD.

If you want to convert it to something else (an XviD AVI with MP3 audio, for example), then you have to use a program (one such as AutoGK) that can do it.

  3. I cannot play those files. I need to use DVD Decrypter to make the video file. Is there a way I can check file format. They have no extension. There are 6 files. Please help.

  4. If there are no extensions, then you turn on extensions in your operating system.

This is not authoring. MOving you to our dvd backup section.

You could also use vob2mpg to make a single mpg.

We can't help much without more info.
Please list the files (and folder they are in) WITH EXTENSIONS SHOWING turned on.
