Cut/Join .Vob without conversion?

I need to upload videos on youtube.
I have DvD which has .Vob files. I want to Join and then Cut the videos without Conversion/Loosing quality. Please tell me how to do it ?

As near as I can tell he just wants to cut VOBs from a DVD and then upload them to YouTube as-is - no reauthoring, no reencoding. It's a very poor idea, especially so given the very poor quality of Pakistani DVDs (interlaced and field-blended) but if all he wants is a VOB cutter, then I might suggest MPEG2Cut2 or its earlier (and easier to use) MPEG2Cut. For joining maybe VOB2MPEG or VOBMerge.

I was only speculating before but can now say with confidence that what you have is pure and utter garbage. If you'd like to give us a good laugh, please upload a small piece of a VOB now that you know how to cut them. MediaInfo can tell only a small part of the story.

What advice were you looking for? How about, "Delete it from your hard drive as soon as possible". Is this the retail DVD, or something you downloaded from someone that ruined the original even more?

it's a retail DVD. don't know what you are talking about. i need suggestion/tips. don't waste my time if u don't have suggestion other than deleting it.

And also as I said before, just uploading a part of a crap DVD will look even worse on YouTube than it does on your TV set. There are ways to improve these things, ways that apparently don't interest you at all. At least you have a PAL version, so maybe it's not field-blended.

simpiles use DVD Decrypter to put files on your hard drive press decrypt and hey presto files are on your hdd use mpg2cut2 to cut one edit at at time to jion just use mpg2cut2 again add all the files and save this clip there you have it fast simple easy. dont let anybody tell you you need 100 tools to do an easy job slowly t shirt avalible saying plzz support mpg2cut2

i do not have DVD now. i have saved it's files in my Hard Disk. DVD decrypter is not accepting files from hard disk. i tried.

ok, what should i do now to merge and cut the video file , even though it's not original dvd, according to u ?

is it right way what i followed now ?
i. Merge .vob files with Mpeg2Cut.
ii. then Split it with Ultra video cutter with the settings i.e. output = Same as source

step one use Mpeg2Cut to split useing ( I ) symbol in the prog for start point and end point output to where ever one clip at time then if you wish to merge just add clips in prog and use the save this clip option in mpeg2cut dont worry if it wont play in microsoft media player it will on youtube or Media Player Classic - HC will take seconds to do

mpeg2cut , split the videos but not with accuracy/auto. i have to do manually. like youtube allows 15 minutes only. is there any option in mpeg2cut that i can split my 2 hours long video in to 15 minutes apart equally ?

its splits with accuracy here if I do one clip at a time if you try to out put more than 1 clip at a time you will run into trouble and I load the file again affter each clip as for auto set to size of clip im not sure I do it manually maybe you could make that point to the developers on there forum but as i said more than 1 clip at a time is not a good idea
