    I have many mkv files. they are all dark when i play them, or convert then with xtodvd. what are my options to get them lighter? avidemux has an option but always locks up when processing mkv files.

    obviously they aren't your own videos. either get better ones(don't bother with cams they have always sucked) or use the setup function of your tv to increase the brightness
