I use CDEX to rip my CD collection into MP3, but I have not used it for ages, today I have started to rip a few more and CDEX no longer recognises artists and track names etc etc........IS There another program i can use that does this......Im getting fed up of typing in track names etc etc

	It doesnt seem to allow me to extract the artist/track details.....is this soemthing i have to pay for, if so is there another program that allows this for free ???

	Try reading the program's help before panicking. 
 
 CDex doesn't "extract" that info from the CD. It uses CDDB. This is free.
 I think you have to input an email address to set that up, though it doesn't have to be a real one.
 
 And of course your firewall has to let it contact CDDB.
 
 Most commercial CDs are in the database.
