I am trying to register this mjpeg codec..I was successful in registering the compression part of it! It is now greyed out. The problem is that the lettrering they add on videos when unregistered is still appearing. How do I enter my registration key for the uncompressor?? A friend of mine told me this could be done with Premier, but It can't be accomplished on mine!
Thanks for any responces
Serge

Why don't you use the Huffy CODEC. It's looseless compression ,you'll get 2:1 reduced AVI, and it's free!.

I lose too many frames using huffy...That is why I am using the PICvideo MJPEG codec..Everything is great except this damn "watermark" they add.

i used to use huffyuv codec and in my opinion it's the best out there. can't install it anymore in my system. it's a long story. i can give you a link though where you can register the compression and decompression without any problems and it will work and you won't see the name PicVideo Motion JPEG anymore. this is what i am using now. they say it's the 2nd best codec and you can change the setting. compression rates vary from 2.1:1 and up depending on your setting.

Gadget I already have the means to register..I got a crack a while ago..I registered it and it worked...The only prob is I think you have to register the compressor and the DeCompressor...I have codes for both...I just need to know how to register other part..I was told you have to do it in Premier..But for some reason that doesn't work for me...Has anyone successfully registered this S_hit?? Please let me know how you did it!
Thanks
BTW my e-mail is Serge_FT@yahoo.com

Go to Start Menu>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Multimedia. A little window should pop up. Click on the last tab, hardware.
Click on Video Codecs, to select, then click on Properties.
Another little window will pop up. Click on Properties, again.
You will see all of the Mjpeg codecs listed.
Click on the one you want to register and click on Properties, yet again. You should be able to take it from there. -
i'll be sending you the key generator. i didn't register mine. once you receive the attachment, go to your capture program open VIDEO COMPRESSION and select your codec which is PicVideo MJPEG. Once you're there click on configure and you'll see on your right screen, User Name and Registration both for Compressor and Decompressor. Whatever name you use when you open the key generator, that's also the name you're going to assign on your registration. Once everything is entered, just hit OK.did you check your pm?
