I have had a panasonic HDC-TM41 since early January. Right around the end of the school year I had the camcorder in my pocket and someone tackled me, I fell on the camera and the screen has been shattered since, LCD ink all over and 99% of the screen no longer functions. I have been looking all over eBay for either a non functional HDC-TM40/41 to pull the screen out of but it does not appear as though I can find one, so I was wondering if it would be possible for me to get a small HDMI display that I could either carry with the camera or just duct tape to the camera, I don't know if it outputs HDMI during recording but I think it might. I have a budget of just under $80 right now and I wanted to get this thing fixed as soon as possible (before I go on a marching band trip to Atlanta, Georgia later this year). Any help would be much appreciated.

If anyone is wondering about the camera and how it still functions after being crushed in my pocket, it didn't work for a week after, but I took it apart, found a wire unplugged, plugged it back in, and the camera functions perfect, except for the screen.

You won't find any small lcd display with hdmi inputs for the price you want, they go for $200 and up,best to save up for a new hd camera with better specs, the one you have is below hd standards in megapixel resolution.

The only thing you can do is either film with no viewer or borrow a camera.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
