    Hi guys,
I've built a videowall, and we're not sure if we're going to use 3x3 or 3x2 yet. But I wanted to ask some general questions regarding codecs..

If we use 3x2 setup, I need to play a video that is 3840x3600 (25fps). What codecs can I use for this? Everything I try just gives me down-scaled renders.

    Thanks in advance,

  2. YouTube supports resolutions up to a maximum of 4096x2304, and it's h.264. I also know ProRes can support at least this resolution. So, it's a good place to start.

  3. x264 has no problems with that frame size. Whether you can decode it in real time is the real question. Xvid supports it (probably Divx too) and is easier to decode.
