I've been using SUPRip to convert sup's to srt format, but i'm tired of sitting there for like an hr just making a srt file. Is there any other way to do this? I see sum files for subrip that has a bunch of character matrix's, but there doesn't seem to be a way to use them with suprip.

Is there any other program i can use to make a srt file or is there anyway to use a character matrix with suprip so that i don't have to sit there for hours making subs?

Yeah, i know. Is there a database for subtitle edit? Because it's still missing a lot of words that don't even show up wrong sometimes. Like H(& instead of Hey. It will completely skip that even though it's clearly not correct.

Under Spell Check - Get Dictionaries you can add dictionaries to be used during spell check and OCR ...

  7. After you have your draft SRT file,

www.SubtitlePlus.com may has the software for you to editing, formatting, rendering.
It automatically does spell check, like Microsoft Word.

Check the manual to see if it is OK.

  8. I've described this a couple of times. So I'll just post the link. If the source is English subs, I've had very good luck with DVDSubEdit automatic OCR:
