The way i make burned DVD's is ok but im not fully satisfied. Most of them freeze at certain points during the movie. I researched it may have something to do with chapters or something to do with the single/dual layer discs which i dont understand. Anyways, heres how I make my DVD's.

    1) I download a movie, usually a mp4. or avi. file type like most people do.
    2) I convert it using DVD Flick to an iso. file
    3) Burn it with ImgBurn at x4 speed.

Please, if anyone has a better method than can you tell me. Most of the time, whenever I convert it with DVD Flick, the audio and video are out of sync a little bit which is why I watch the iso. file on my computer before burning it. The quality also suffers when I convert it. But it doesnt freeze when watching it on VLC Media Player like it does on the DVD player. I tried using NERO, but i dont know which one to use because theres so many and dont understand how to convert the avi. or mp4. file to a dvd file like iso. I've tried using many different free softwares but none have worked except for DVD Flick. Can someone give me some tips on what I'm doing wrong?
