DVD Decrypter allows you to create a VOB based on an individual chapter. Is it possible to do this with a WMV HD disc?

There are very few tools capable of dealing with WMV, although you could do it the hard way and make note of the beginning and ending points for a chapter and use asfbin to edit the original file down to this. Do note that WMV HD will likely be encrypted if it's from a commercial source and you may not be able to decrypt it if the ancient FairPlay4WM doesn't work.

For what it's worth, even hard core Xbox people have basically abandoned WMV. To be blunt, it's not worth the trouble it takes to produce it and Microsoft's constant changes in their WMV encoders have made most people give up using it when H.264/X.264 is much easier to deal with.

I am trying to edit Pirates by chapter. Believe it or not Pirates the WMV HD version was sold without any copy protection allowing great ease of use.
