I just installed MKVToolnix on my computer and now there is this annoying chime that keeps playing about every minute. Does anyone know how to turn it off?

I uninstalled it and restarted, and then reinstalled it again and it seems to be less frequent now but it still annoys me because it does it at least once when I boot my computer.

It still chimes even after uninstalling also.

Where did you download it from? That's definitely NOT normal. I just updated my copy over the weekend and neither on the old copy nor the updated one does this happen. You should scan your PC for viruses.

Well, I downloaded it directly from this site. Don't know why its doing this, it definatly didn't start until I installed that program. I don't have any virus protection on my computer so that could be part of it as well. I will use my recovery discs and reformat my computer if I have to.

I didn't figure that was normal though, really pisses me off... :/

...Actually I just got home and the chime has stopped, I don't know if it had something to do with that public internet connection or what. I installed the software again to see if it would start up again and it didn't either. I don't have an internet connection at my house either, thats the main reason I don't have virus protection. My computer is just being really weird.
