I am a somewhat better than decent artist. I took Saturday-morning art classes as a child sponsored by the county, and students had to be recommended by their grade school. I even won a contest for a 6-week course at the local commercial art school at age 12. I never pursued it as a career, though. I wasn't quite talented enough or driven enough for that.

I can draw the blinds, a full pitcher of stout, people's attention, and decent pictures, especially if they are geometrical.
