I have a number of avi videos archived at high quality (4000Kbps) and what I believe is 'native' resolution (720x500 or so-the exact figure varies). I need to copy them to a lower quality & resolution for my PVP. I've found software that lets me do it 'the long way' by converting them to DVDs and then re-ripping them but is there anything that will do it directly? Thanks.

Thanks. I'll give that a try.
Update. So far Xvid4PSP is way too complicated for me. Granted I don't have expert knowledge of video stuff, but I've been programming PC's for over 30 years...I can figure out most programs, but not this one. Thanks, but I think I'll try something else.Last edited by calvin-c; 21st Jul 2012 at 21:35.
