    What tool can I use to join a DivX video stream with an MP3 audio stream

    I would usually use VirtualDub with DivX and WAV - setting the video to "direct stream copy" but VirtualDub won't accept the MP3 -- it wants a .WAV

    I just need to "direct stream copy" both audio and video into one .avi file.

    Use Nandub.. it's like virtual dub but it has more options like adding mp3 audio. You can get it at http://www.doom9.net.
