  2. Looks to me as if you might have a syntax error in dvdauthor.xml. I havn't experienced that so I don't know why it happend

    I guess the relevant part would be:

    <subpicture lang="EN">
    <stream mode="widescreen" id="0"/>
    <stream mode="letterbox" id="1"/>
    </subpicture>
    Goto Configuration -> Settings -> Core and check Don't Remove Temp Files
    in order to keep dvdauthor.xml

    It migth also help if you told:

    Version of DVDStyler
    Format (container) of your video source files
    Format of your subtitles and - if text based - characterset used

    Self explanatory really.

    It's telling you have not most likely set the language option ... ie it should be "EN" for english.

  5. Bjs is right

    You will notice in the picture below that the subtitle field is left blank when you select "Indonesian" and the blank field is carried along to your dvdauthor.xml file causing the crash

    Late to the party, but this looks like the subtitle stream you're trying to use is not UTF-8 encoded, while DVDStyler is set to use charset UTF-8. Go to where you set up your subtitle font, and look in the top left corner. the second option should say UTF-8 there. Change it to something more suitable. Now, I don't know what language your subtitle file is in, but for most parts of Europe, ISO8859-1 should work. Another option would be to change the subtitle charset encoding in a text- or subtitle editor.
