  1. Hello, I have some clips where i would like to add a 2nd audio option. then create dvd so family can watch it with the normal sound or my second audio option.

    i am an amateur so are there free legal software to allow me do to this? if not, are there cheap software available?

    It's up to you to create or get that 2nd audio track and make sure it's valid for DVD. If you don't need menus tsmuxer supports multiple audio tracks and it's really easy to use. You would need to use your remote control and push the Audio button to change between audio tracks this way.

    If you need menus, I'm not sure what to recommend. Maybe others can help here. GUiforDVDAuthor is free but it's not really user friendly in my opinion and it might be more effort than you're up for.
