Hi,
I've made an introduction from Adobe AE and trying to import to Vegas 10. Vegas will not accept any file type from AE. When it does, it's a blank white screen or the framerate is really choppy. Is there something I'm doing wrong? What's the best way to import from AE to Vegas?

Use industry standard PNG Still Sequence, or 32bit AVI, if you need TransAlpha.
Don't need transalpha? Then anything else is fine.
You can't transfer "project" files between apps, it has to be a render of some kind. However, in Vegas Pro you can "ADD" composite a black background as if it were transparent, but not in the "Studio" line.
So that means you can use a regular 8 bit render and still composite it, sans the black background.Last edited by budwzr; 15th Jul 2012 at 18:10.
