All of a sudden in vdub v1.9.11 i got the following error every time i tried to play/process any file in vdub: 'no audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format. source format tag 2000'.
I tried all the normal stuff with ffdshow etc. to no effect. So yesterday i downloaded v1.10.2 and the same files worked fine. They still would not work in v1.9.11 so i decided to use 1.10.2 and not try to work out what the problem was.
Unfortunately, today i opened a bog standard avi in 1.10.2 and got the error. And i get it with every video file i load. Needless to say i've changed no settings in any app so i really have no idea what's happening. Can anyone help. please?
EDIT - i seem to have solved the problem with the ac3/acm dll. The strange thing is i was getting the error with mp3 audio before. Oh well, looks like the problem's sorted.
