  1. Okay, I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum earlier. Please forgive me. I am trying to burn a windows media clip to a vcd. I followed the VCD all in one guide to the letter and everything seemed to work except my dvd player, Samsung DVD/VCD player says, "Cannot read disc". I first used DUB to save the audio to a separate file. I then use TMPENgc to convert the video and audio to a mpeg file. I then used VCDEasy to burn the cd. The process all flows very smoothly and I get no errors but then I can't play the freaking cd! VCDeasy creates four folders on the disc one of them being the mpegav folder that I know is important. Still, it doesn't work. Please help me!!!!

  2. Model number on that Samsung?

Do other VCDs play in the same player? If so, are they factory-pressed CDs, or CD-R/RW recorded VCDs?
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  3. I'm not sure of the model number. However, I do know that it plays VCD disc because the manual says it does. It should be able to play all VCD, CD-R, CD-RW with recognizable formats.

  4. lol, when the manual says it plays Video-CD it is refering to factory pressed VCD's NOT Video-CD's on CDR/CDRW.

The manual MUST state that it plays CDR/CDRW, does it?

Some DVD players DO NOT play VCD's on CDR/CDRW at all.
