MeGUI MKV-Muxer doesnt work

Hi!

When I run mkv-muxer in MEGUI, set all parameters and then click on "Queue" nothing happens at all! The window remains there, the queue stays empty, no error message. It worked fine before, must have something to do with an update. Any ideas how to solve this?

I've no idea why it won't add the job to the queue. Is it just the muxer which won't work on it's own or are you having muxing issues when encoding?

In the MeGUI folder (on XP it's C:\Program Files\MeGUI\tools\mkvmerge) there's a file called mmg.exe Try running it instead. It should run MKVMergeGUI, which I prefer to use when just muxing something anyway. If you like it, maybe create a shortcut for it.

Thanks for answering. The problem occurs only with the muxer not with the extractor. And yes: the MKVmergeGUI seems to work, thank you!
