I futzed with my color settings and now I need somebody that thinks their monitor is calibrated correctly, to tell me which video looks correct color-wise. Thanks in advance.
NOTE>>>>> Don't judge by the individual photos because they're a mixed bag of exposures. Judge by which video looks more lifelike overall.
Pro comments are fine, but man-on-the-street comments are better.

It's much too dark.
Or more accurately, there's too much contrast -- shadows are crushed in both.
Increase gamma.
The highlights are also blown out. Reduce contrast.
That effect gives me a headache.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

OK, thanks Smurf. I gave up on it now because I realize even if MY monitor is calibrated, others are not, so I went back to what I had before.
I'm not crazy about color FX either, but the photos were so poorly exposed, and I wanted to add some zing or pizzazz.Last edited by budwzr; 2nd Jul 2012 at 11:38.
