I DID IT!!!!!!!!!

i finally got my movie to work without the pink blurs i just uninstalled every codec on my comp and opened it in vdub and the pink blurs were gone apperently i was using hacked versoions of codecs and it was causing my prob


the only thinbg is now i fear i wont be able to open the files in tmpgenc so ill need a non hacked ver of the mp43 codec (not asking just saying)(do not try to give)

thenill have the ultimate in converting capabilities

How do you find the codec's on your computer? I have done a search and cannot find them..... any help would be greatly appreciated because all Im getting is purple haze.. and blur...

In Win2k, you go into Control Panel, Sounds and Multimedia, Hardware tab. Scroll to the bottom of the list and you will find Video Codecs.

How can you play it in Vdub if you you have no codecs on your computer?
Where do I find non hacked Codecs?
I still have the same Problem, hope I can fix it.

Well,
I uninstalled all codecs from my Computer and tried to open it with virtual dub, which gave me an error message that it can't find an MP43 (Microsoft High Speed MPEG-4 V3) Codec. How did you open it with Virtual Dub, you said that you have uninstalled all Codecs, You should have got the same massage as me? Then I installed Nimo and did a preview with Tempgenc. and the picture is stil pink. Would anybody please be so friendly and explain to me what I shell do after uninstalling all codecs from my Computer? And wherecan I get a unhacked Version of MP43?

all i did after uninstalling my codecs is use the nimo pack and did a full install of it except the g400 codec fix then i uninstalled it using the ,microsoft add/remove programs wizard then i noticed that even though it says it is completly uninstalled it kept getting the pink blurs and i noticed that the hacked codecs were still there so i stupidly installed angel potion and DID NOT INSTALL THE NAVI CODEC INCLUDED then i uninstalled it immediatly well it then allowed me to wiew them for a while then it didnt so i got the divx mpeg 4 3.11 codec from a kit i dl'd off kazaa and installed it then ran the run me first that it puts in the folder that pops up then installed divx 4.0 pro and said not to play divx 3 content with this codec then all the movies were openable on the virtual dub prog but i noticed not on tmpgenc so i opend each file and converted to uncompressed audio/video avi file then opened it in tmpgenc and it worked im converting the queen of the damned right now with no more pink blurs

also if you decide to dl resident evil you will need to install angel potion again DONT WORRY it ill work perfectly with it and allow converting with no pink blurs after you convert it just uninstall it again and go on with your life as if you never had a bull codec like angel potion on your computer

hope this helps it is exactly what i did and am doing right now to make my movies
