  1. Hello,
For my pleasure and my knowledge about this, I want to program (in C or in Java, I don't know) a little software to make the structure of a Blu Ray disk.

Not a big soft with lots of options : a little with the movies as in and a static DB menu as out.

Where can I find technical decriptions of the DB structure ? I tried Google : there are only softwares, not explanations.

    Thanks !

Did you look at this page?
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray_Disc#Directory_and_file_structure

The footnotes give more detailed reference documents.

  4. you could simply use tsMuxer to create the BD structure, or take it's output as a base to understand the structure better,...
(btw. "Blu-ray Disc Demystified" would be a good book to read regarding Blu-ray and it's options)

While BD Demystified will help a good deal, you're still going about this the wrong way.

Authored consumer titles (whether AudioCD, SACD, VCD, SVCD, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, HD-DVD or BD) are much more complex than simple container files in a folder on a disc. They have structures within structures. And not all of it is abstracted/logical structures, some is concrete/physical structures. Meaning things often have to be in an exact order, both within files and in sector order burned on the disc.

You need a "roadmap" to find where you want to go. You also need a "guidebook/index" to help you read and understand the roadmap.

  6. Thank you for you answers !

I thought about analysing the DB ouput of TsMuxeR but it seems to be very hard to undestand.

I effectively need a road map or ways and a long time and long readings to get informations and begin programming.

    I'll try that !

If you have more informations or readings, I'll take them !

    Thanks !
