I've read about toon, and mftoon, and fastlinedarken, and then there's fastlinedarkenmod.
However, I'm having trouble obtaining them online. Can someone please direct me to a link where I can get them? Some pages are 404's. In my own plugins folder, I have toon and mftoon, yet I get a script error.
Thanks.

Me? I haven't a clue as I've never used any of them as it's been a long time since I've worked with anime. I thought the purpose of the post was to track down the ones you don't have.

You've seen the older FastLineDarken used in the script in post #270 of an earlier thread from January 2012:

The function's corrected text is in the body of the .avs script in that post. The top of the script has some notes about how the function is used. Another copy of the avs script was attached to this post in the same thread: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/341188-Still-have-flicker-after-Denoising-with-AviS...=1#post2135556
I could never get the newer FastLineDarkenMOD to work. It turned my videos green. A corrected version of the original FastLineDarkenMod script is in Doom9: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1060081#post1060081 .
They say it's corrected, but it still turned my videos green.
Links to mfToon, vmToon, Toon are at the mediawiki site at http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/External_filters. As your user-friendly buddy Scinitilla states on his web page, vmToon was the original version of Toon. links for mfToon and the ancient vmToom still work, but the link for Toon does not (I often wonder if it ever did).

vmToon: http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/upload/1/15/Vmtoon-v0.74.avsi
Toon is a .dll, not a script. I downloaded my copy back in 2008, haven't seen it since. I have attached a copy of the dll and the html from the wiki site. The attached .zip also contains a VisualC++ runtime installer (.exe) that you probably don't need, as Vista should have the VC5 runtime files already installed.
I don't know where I found that copy of toon-v10.dll. Probably on the Anime Music Videos site in their AVSPLuginPack:

Attached is toon.
I use it when restoring animation.
Usage:
Code:Toon(strength=0.6)

Thanks, LS. The download window during that post of mine said the "zip" had loaded OK. Wonder what happened to it?

LS, so toon is your darkener of choice eh? Why so? What makes it different from fastlinedarkenmod, for instance? I have vmtoon. Is that any different from toon? vmtoon causes some shimmer if used too strong, I've seen.

But thanks for the file, by the way. I'm adding it to my plugins folder

I find use for you goons every now and then. I just now know when to split, that's all.

Just keep digging that hole, scoob. You're not that far from hitting bottom.
