  1. How do I put a logo in to a mpg-file?

  2. You can do this when you encode the file.
    It's the same thing as non removeable subtitles.

    Specifically, you can use Avisynth to overlay a logo.
    You could even overlay an anoying video image to
    really piss people off.

    I'm not sure you can do it without reencoding a file.
    I mean it in the nicest way.

  3. There is a simple filter to insert a logo into a video file (yes you have to re-encode) with Virtual Dub:

    You can load the filter in VD and configure it and then frame serv to TMPG.
