I am very new to video authoring.
I am trying to make a video consisting of a 6min song, a jpg file (as background image) and a .doc text (with the song lyrics) as closed caption.

I can do this with Cantasia software. The problem is that the caption is put on the lower half of the background image.
I would like the background image not so visible, and the caption line centered vertically on it.
Is there a way to configure Cantasia to do this?
Or there is a freeware software that i can use?
