just bought a asda view ds-360B HMDI upscaling dvd player and can't find unlock codes

You should have looked for unlock codes BEFORE you bought it. Google is your friend.
Many DVD players simply cannot be hacked.

Should have read the reviews first.

A quick google would tell you that people are screaming for hacks for this model. Most failed to appreciate the claim that it plays NTSC disks - Region 0 disks that would mean. Most NTSC disks are Region 1.

Your best chance is to find out who actually makes this and the firmware used - Asda certainly do not. And at £16 a kick it will inevitably be some cheap Taiwan outfit.

When you know the firmware, there could well be other 'branded' models out there and one of these could have a hack. But you always risk frying your player when you try to hack it.

But as hech54 states, most players, certainly the cheaper models, will be Region 2 only.
