Does a hand typed letter to a bank count?
I can't remember the last time I sent a personal letter to someone. -

I voted last week.
I'm assuming bills count. I still pay by check. I do a lot online but I like to pay cc monthly bills by mail.
But as far as a written letter to a real person no. I can't remember the last time I did that.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -

I used to mail letters and packages to friends a few times a week. Once overnighted a Pizza packed in cold packs from NJ to friends in TX because their pizza sucks. Sent bagels too! They used to overnight me Blue Bell Ice Cream (YUM!) on dry ice. But now, I mail holiday cards and the water bill payment mostly. Everything else is email or electronic payment, save the occasional EBay sale or clients who need things mailed to them.
To tell the truth, I love the immediacy of communications now, but I mis also receiving and sending letters and packages to friends. Guess that's what happens with technology. If mailing costs were lower it 'might' be different, at least for me

Yep, same here, to file an extension.
The time before that? Previous year, same reason.
Also for some magazine subscriptions (special mail-only offers), and donations to orgs.
A real letter to a physical person? No idea.

A few months ago. If you consider something in an envelope that is not an audio or DVD disk.
For the last five years or so I've averaged about 2 stamps a year. Since I have quite a few vehicles, my auto insurance company on occasion does send me correspondence that needs to be returned. However, they do understand that nothing will be returned by me unless it comes with a filled out return envelope with an attached stamp.
I don't even fill out mail in rebates for products any more.
The most annoying thing that I find about snail mail is that when I do need to send something out, the price of a stamp has changed so if I do have a stamp laying around I still have to go to the Post Office for additional stamps to make up the difference in price for what the price of the new stamp costs. Years ago, when the Post office came out with forever stamps, I tried to buy half a dozen of them to take care of my needs and I was told that forever stamps were only avail in full sheets or full books.
My thought was if you can only buy forever stamps in larger quantities you must be sending out enough mail that you don't need forever stamps. Forever stamps should be for people like me. People that don't use that many stamps but would like to know that if they have a half dozen of them they'll work when they need them.

I've been sending a lot of cards to friends via the Postagram and Sincerely Ink apps.
I think those count since they have a personal note and arrive in snail-mail. -
I mail out bill payments and invoices. I think the last time I mailed a personal letter was in 1975.

I still send off snail mail about every two months. Mostly bills that I can't process online or sometimes rebates. Everything else is via email or the internet.

Yesterday, sent an invoice. Included a CD as the most practical way to send 600 MB of files to someone who finds GMail challenging.
Personally, basically just Xmas and birthdays. -
Actually, I'm Not wrong. That was what I was told at the postal window when I wanted to buy 6 forever stamps last year. So, I ended up just buying the one stamp that I needed at that time.
However, the person at the postal window might have been wrong when they told me a book or full sheets only.
Next time I'm at the Post Office for a stamp I'll keep what Lordsmurf said in mind and I'll be more demanding in my request for 6 forever stamps. I mean even for the Post Office it did sound like a stupid policy.

Every week, I mail paperwork to my employer. I haven't been to the front counter at a USPS office in years, all the PO near me have the automated machines in the lobby where you can buy stamps and mail packages.
