  1. Hi,

Need some help. Downloaded some videos for part of a Father's Day Gift.
Trying to play on xbox 360 streaming from a network external Hard Drive (connected via Ethernet to router. is a seagate goflex home). I have the xbox 360 connected via ethernet cable (do not think it's gigabit though? don't think 360 is compatible??)

Watched a few minutes of videos on my pc (videos actually on external network drive) and seemed everything was in sync.
Played on xbox 360 and the audio/video was all out of sync, worsening if fast forwarded or skipped chapters....

Is there any way to correct this audio sync problem? Does bandwidth effect sync at all? The video was smooth and didn't seem like it was choking from any type of bandwidth bottleneck.

Are there different video formats that are not prone to or is not even an issue as far as audio sync delays?
****That are playable on my xbox 360 without transcoding??? Maybe so
Do not want to watch some less than hi def video quality if avoidable!

By the way the videos I was having an issue with were: 720p xvid/avi

Give more info about your video source. Open video in mediainfo, view->text and copy.

You could also try use another streamer for the xbox360 like ps3 media server.
