  1. Hi!
I am using subtitles of 2 lines, and occasionally I need to use 1 line subtitles. But SW puts the single line subtitles in the 2nd line and I want them in the 1st line, because it forces to move your eyes up and down and is against the natural rhythm you have when you are reading the 2 lines subtitles.

Any idea how to do for SW to place the 1 line subtitles in the 1st line and not the 2nd one?

    Thanks!

What subtitle format are you using?

If I would venture a guess it would be that you are creating some kind of text-based subtitle. Subtitle Workshop does not place such subtitles anywhere, your media player does.

A possible workaround (I haven't tried it myself) would be to include a 2nd row with only one character (<SPACE>) on all one-line subtitles.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
