    Hi,

I've copied a file from Panasonic DMR-XW380 to PC via DLNA with Twonky The file has no indication what format is it and the filename ends in _BDY.

It is interlaced and can be played with VLC. I'd like to edit it, take out ads etc. Usually I use tmpGenc Authoring 4 but the resulting file doesn't play nicely and is many seconds out of audio sync.

Has anyone have similar trouble and sorted a fix? Or can suggest something else to use?

    Many thanks.

Post the details from the video. Use mediainfo, open video and view->text and copy the info.

If it's mpeg2 you could try "repair" it with for example videoredo and quickstream fix.

Editing blu-ray/avchd 1080p AVC/H.264 is still kinda complex for many editing software. You could try videoredo h264 suite and solveigmm video splitter (try the demos/trials first).
