  1. Hello
I lost the audio of the movie through Nero 7, I choose "Make Your Own DVD-Video","DVD-9" then in the final step before starting. I get a msg as attached.
After burning; I get the video without audio, any idea?
    Thanks

...Have you tried following any of the suggestions mentioned in that error box?

  3. Did you select LPCM audio? If so you can save space by selecting DD. You can also use Recode to fit your project on a DVD, if you don't have Recode then use DVDShrink.

If the menus aren't a big concern, you might try using programs like AVS2DVD, DVD Flick (both freeware), or ConvertX2DVD (payware), rather than creating your DVD-Video disc with Nero. AVS2DVD also has a support forum here on VideoHelp, and its author, MrC, regularly visits.

Note that if you do try AVS2DVD, be sure to open the options before you use it, and set everything up the way you want. The program defaults to making PAL-format DVDs, for example, so if you need NTSC-format DVDs...

Nero isn't always gracious about what it does with the video and audio when creating a DVD (or even a VCD).

The majority of the people here avoid Nero like the plague.

  7. Your project is too large to fit on the disk, you burned it anyway, and it did not work properly. What is it that you fail to understand?

To burn a disk, use ImgBurn. Nero is nearly worthless.

This is apparently a slide show. The message clearly states that you are also adding the picture files to the disk, separate from, and in addition to, the actual slide show. Eliminate this and it should work.

It's very simple: when you are making your project go to audio properties and select Dolby Digital, if your only option is LPCM then use DVDShrink to fit the project on a DVD. You could also make your slideshow in Windows DVD Maker, it uses DD.
