Hi everyone, I'm trying to test an application on android and it isn't working right and I'm worried that my videos might be the problem. So I'm looking for a place where I can download some 1024x600 videos I can use for testing. The site says I can use any of these video formats:
    - FLV
    - WMV
    - H.264
    - MOV
    - 3GP
    - AVI
    - ASF
    - MPEG 1, 2 and 4
    - DivX

    Thanks a bunch in advance

  2. And that site is what? Do they have a contact email? If you got the app from that site don't they support it?

  3. I doubt you'll ever find a 1024x600 video to download because at 1.71:1 it's an unheard of ratio. Can't you make one yourself? Resize and reencode something you already have?

That smells like the screen dimensions of the device. Such as this one:-

    http://www.merimobiles.com/HAIPAD_i7_T_IPS_1024_600_Multitouch_Screen_with_An_p/meri4436.htm

Nowt to do with the dimensions of the video it displays.

It's probably NOT an oxymoron (what I though at first). More likely bad tech specs reporting.

If it's like DB83's link, that ACCEPTS 1080p (p-what? 24, 30, 60? probably 30) and 720p30 and 480p30. And then does a resize to full screen (1024x600) with windowboxing or pillarboxing, as needed.

Yeah, it would be rare to get a clip directly coded for that device (but not impossible). Even then, you don't know if the device is doing other processing when showing fullscreen...

Awesome thank you jagabo, just what I needed. Yeah the reason I wanted to download a video was to see whether or not my videos are corrupt cause I'm using free software on a crappy laptop. I'll reply with my results just for the heck of it. Thanks for the replies!
